One of our most beloved botanical blends, Lemon Turmeric is a chai inspired blend that yields uniquely earthy and sweet citrus notes.

All organic ingredients include turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, lemon peel, cardamom are hand blended and packaged by artisans in Seattle.

The use of turmeric in India and China goes back 4,000 years, where it is valued in both in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It’s associated with inflammation reduction and considered to be an excellent natural antibiotic. Indian medical literature contains over 100 different terms for turmeric, including jayanti, meaning “one who is victorious over diseases,” and matrimanika, meaning “as beautiful as moonlight.”

We recommend brewing Lemon Turmeric with 1 heaping tablespoon for every 8 ounces of water at 200° F for 6 minutes to extract the notes of citrus fruits which compliment the bold flavors of turmeric.
