Jasmine Green tea is one of the most iconic teas due to its elegant floral notes that ignites feelings of both nostalgia and catharsis. Our jasmine green tea holds the fading 800 year-old tradition of naturally scenting jasmine green tea with freshly picked jasmine flowers. The flowers are picked the night before they bloom and are allowed to bloom onto the tea leaves. The flavor is held in the green tea, because tea leaves are like photo film capturing the flavor of its surroundings.

In our jasmine green, single origin organic green tea from the remote mountains of Hubei are selected to scent of jasmine blossoms. About four pounds of jasmine flowers are used to scent just one pound of green tea in this tea.

We recommend brewing our single origin jasmine green tea with 1 heaping teaspoon for every 8 ounces of water at 180° F for 2 minutes to acquire the sweet and smooth floral notes of jasmine without acquiring the bitterness of the green tea. Also enjoy cold brewed by adding 1 teaspoon of tea for every 8 ounces of water and placing in the refrigerator overnight to slowly infuse. This tea can be re-steeped up to 3 times according to these directions.
