Such a high grade of tea is best consumed without sugar or cream to enjoy the natural sweet and smooth profile. One can enjoy the difference between our Golden Yunnan compared to English Breakfast, which is a blend of black teas grown in the historic British colonies of Kenya, Sri Lanka, and India.
We recommend brewing this single origin black tea with 1 heaping tablespoon for every 8 ounces of water at 195° F for 4 minutes to acquire the sweet oak and floral notes of Yunnan black tea. Also enjoy cold brewed by adding 1 teaspoon of tea for every 8 ounces of water and placing in the refrigerator overnight to slowly infuse. This tea can be re-steeped up to 3 times according to these directions.
